Quite a post. I think this has been my year of discontent...Many things have caused that - and I won't bother sharing them - But the question comes to mind "What in the world are we doing?" Why are we so content to just go along with life as usual. I know I have been ringing Gary's ear about this. Thanks for the link - now what do we do with the information?????

i think that with holy discontent, a phrase kindof coined by bill hybels, i have had to come to grips with the fact that we are running a marathon. my job is to do something...yeah, we have to pray, read, study, submit, obey, follow, abide...all that...notice i didnt mention debate/talk, we do all that stuff but we rarely do something. we wait for the big event, the huge experience where "the spirit moves"! all the while we miss God in the small choices of the marathon we are running.

for those of us in Christ...we must do something! love God, love people...do something...it really isnt that complicated...

hope you guys are well...we miss ya!
